2. To reduce the number of planes flying to help address the threat of climate change

When a plane flies to transport goods that could have been delievered by land, the plane produces unncessary carbon emmisions and wastes gasoline that could have been used for another flight. This forces the plane to use more fossil fuels and increases the effects of climate change.
Airplane flights have produced around 915 million tonnes of CO2 every year, worsening the effects of climate change due to their greenhouse gases.
